Synopsis of NCPACE Completion Study

The study occurred during the 2007 deployment of USS John C. Stennis. Sailors taking Navy College Program for Afloat College Education (NCPACE) instructor-led courses had the opportunity to complete a questionnaire.  Sailors who no showed/dropped a NCPACE course also had an opportunity to complete a similar No Show/Drop survey. The primary purpose of the survey was to assist the Education Services Office (ESO) in providing improved services to Sailors onboard USS John C. Stennis through greater knowledge of the students. Questions were asked regarding demographic information, familiarity of educational programs, supervisor support, college related experiences and barriers, Enlisted Education Requirements, interest in future opportunities, and suggestions for improving the ESO and/or NCPACE.
